This is a very sweet book which shows the lessons that grandmothers can teach us. It includes diverse illustrations which depict people of multiple backgrounds. I love that one of the grandmothers in the story is a pilot.
Some parents or teachers may want to know that this book mentions Christmas and the Fourth of July.
Overall, this is a book that not only honors the grandparent/grandchild relationship, but it also teaches the values of good sportsmanship, physical exercise, community service, getting along with siblings, and love.
